How much does a CRM cost in India?
A CRM is paid for in one of two ways. Software-as-a-service CRMs charge a subscription per user per month, and someone still has to set them up around your pipeline, your lead sources and your team. A custom CRM is built once, belongs to you once paid for, and runs on hosting you pay for. Either way, setup is where a CRM succeeds or fails: a pipeline nobody updates is expensive at any price.
Our CRM packages, from a starter that gets the pipeline out of spreadsheets to a fully custom build, read from the price list:
- CRM Migration & Cleanup — from ₹9,000
- Sales CRM Starter — from ₹18,000
- Real Estate CRM — from ₹45,000
- Patient CRM & Recalls — from ₹45,000
- Custom CRM Setup — from ₹95,000
What moves the price of a CRM?
The same six questions decide a CRM quote whichever route you take. Answer them for your business before you compare prices.
- Pipeline design. Stages, fields and who owns each lead. The Sales CRM Starter covers pipeline and stage design, lead capture from web and WhatsApp, assignment and follow-up reminders, quotation templates and a sales dashboard for owners.
- Lead sources. IndiaMART, Facebook and Instagram lead ads, WhatsApp and your website each need a connection. IndiaMART Lead Autopilot starts at ₹10,000 and Meta Lead Ads → WhatsApp at ₹5,000.
- Objects and permissions. Your own record types, role and territory permissions, and approval and discount rules are where a custom CRM earns its price.
- Quotes and invoices. A quote-to-invoice workflow, and whether invoices must reach Tally without being typed again; Tally Integration & Automation starts at ₹12,000.
- Old data. Moving and de-duplicating records from another CRM or spreadsheets. CRM Migration & Cleanup starts at ₹9,000; the Custom CRM already includes data migration.
- Your industry. Units, site visits and channel partners for builders; appointments, recalls and consent for clinics. Our Real Estate CRM and Patient CRM & Recalls start with those in their design.
Custom CRM or SaaS: which costs less over three years?
Work it out with your own numbers, because the answer turns on team size and on the plan you would really need. For a SaaS CRM, the three-year cost is the per-user monthly price, times your users, times 36, plus setup, paid add-ons and any price rises. For a custom CRM, it is the build price plus 36 months of hosting and whatever support you choose.
SaaS usually wins for a small team with a standard sales process, because there is little to build and the subscription stays small. Custom tends to win as the team grows, when the features you need sit in a higher-priced plan, or when the CRM has to work closely with Tally, WhatsApp or your own systems. SaaS CRMs such as Zoho CRM and Salesforce sell per-user plans; check each vendor’s current India pricing page, and price the plan with the features you need rather than the cheapest one.
Setting up a SaaS CRM properly, with custom connections for the parts that matter, is often the cheapest real answer. The Sales CRM Starter’s stack lists Zoho and Postgres: which one your CRM runs on, and any subscription that comes with it, is settled on the scope call and written into the proposal.
What costs sit outside the build?
These are the costs a CRM quote often leaves out. Our terms put licences, hosting and Meta’s WhatsApp charges outside our price unless the proposal says otherwise.
- Licences: if the CRM runs on a SaaS platform, the per-user subscription is paid to the vendor, and it grows with every user you add.
- Hosting: a custom CRM needs a server and a database, and backups.
- WhatsApp messages: if the CRM sends templates through the WhatsApp Business API, Meta charges per delivered message; see our WhatsApp API pricing guide.
- Training time: the Sales CRM Starter includes team training and a handbook, so the way the CRM is used is written down.
- Changes after launch: Managed Support & Growth starts at ₹14,000, with the founder on agreed monthly hours.
What do typical CRM budgets look like?
Most CRMs are bought together with a lead source or an accounts connection. These examples add up the starting prices on our cards; they are not bundle discounts.
- Starter CRM fed by IndiaMART: Sales CRM Starter, IndiaMART Lead Autopilot — from ₹28,000 together
- Starter CRM with lead ads answered on WhatsApp: Sales CRM Starter, Meta Lead Ads → WhatsApp — from ₹23,000 together
- Real estate CRM with lead ads on WhatsApp: Real Estate CRM, Meta Lead Ads → WhatsApp — from ₹50,000 together
- Custom CRM with invoices posted to Tally: Custom CRM Setup, Tally Integration & Automation — from ₹1,07,000 together
How do you compare CRM quotes?
Put the same questions to every supplier and get the answers in writing. They explain most of the difference between a cheap CRM quote and a sensible one.
- Which pipeline stages, fields and roles will be set up, in writing?
- Which lead sources are connected, and what happens to duplicate enquiries?
- Is old data migrated and cleaned, and who checks the result?
- Who pays the licences, per user, and what happens to the bill when you add users?
- Who owns the data, and can you export all of it at any time?
- What training is included, and is the way of working written down?
How we worked out these figures
Every MakinForU price on this page is read from our live price list when the page is built, so it always matches the package cards. Example budgets add those starting prices together; they are not bundle discounts.
SaaS CRM prices depend on the vendor, the plan, the number of users and the billing period, and they change. We explain how to compare them and leave the figures to each vendor’s current pricing page rather than print a number that may already be out of date.
