AI agent development, from answering questions to taking actions

The details
01How much should the AI be allowed to do?
The four packages sit at different points on one scale. At one end the AI only answers: the Tally AI Assistant works from a read-only export of TallyPrime, and the Enterprise RAG Knowledge Assistant answers from your documents with a citation on every reply. In the middle, the AI Support Copilot drafts replies for your support agents, who decide what to send. At the far end, AI Agent Workflows read documents and email and call tools and APIs to act inside your systems.
A useful test is what a wrong output would cost. A wrong draft can be corrected by the person who reads it before it is sent. A wrong action has already happened, which is why AI Agent Workflows put approval gates in front of risky actions and keep an audit log of every decision.
How do you keep it from making things up?
No language model can be made incapable of error, so the packages narrow where answers can come from and test before launch. The knowledge assistant searches a vector store filtered by each user’s permissions, cites every answer and is built to refuse when it does not know. The Tally assistant cites each answer to vouchers and ledgers and refuses when the data is not there. The copilot’s suggested replies come with their sources, drawn from your resolved tickets and policies, and are held to tone and policy guardrails.
AI Agent Workflows and the knowledge assistant both include an evaluation set run before go-live, so you see how the system handles realistic questions and tasks before staff or customers rely on it. The copilot adds an agent feedback loop instead, so the support staff using its drafts can feed back on them as they work.
What does it cost to run once it is live?
Language-model APIs are billed by their providers according to how much text is processed, so running cost rises with use. Three of the four packages track it: AI Agent Workflows include cost and token monitoring, the knowledge assistant has usage and cost dashboards, and the Tally assistant comes with a usage log and a monthly review. Which model provider you use, and whose account it runs on, is settled on the scope call.
Which package is the smallest sensible first step?
If your books are in TallyPrime, the Tally AI Assistant (₹22,000) is a contained start, because it only reads an export and cannot post anything. If a support team already answers the same questions daily, the copilot keeps a person in charge of every reply. And if the task never changes — this form arrives, log it, notify that person — you may not need AI at all: the Workflow Automation Sprint (₹14,000, up to 7 days) handles fixed rules, and a rule is easier to audit than a judgement.

FAQ
03How much does AI agent development cost?
AI packages start at ₹22,000 for the Tally AI Assistant. AI Support Copilot starts at ₹45,000, AI Agent Workflows at ₹85,000 and the Enterprise RAG Knowledge Assistant at ₹1,75,000. The first two are delivered in up to 30 days, the others in up to 3 months. Your fixed price arrives in writing after a 15-minute scope call.
Can an AI agent work inside the tools we already use?
That is what AI Agent Workflows are for: understanding documents and email, then calling tools and APIs in the systems your team already uses. Which systems, which actions it may take and which need an approval first are agreed on the scope call. The support copilot, by contrast, works through a helpdesk integration.
Does the Tally AI Assistant change anything in our books?
No. It works from a read-only export of TallyPrime, so it can read your vouchers and ledgers but cannot post or edit them. You ask about things such as outstanding, stock and margins on WhatsApp or web chat, and each answer points to the entries it came from.
What is the difference between the copilot and the knowledge assistant?
The AI Support Copilot (₹45,000, up to 30 days) is for support teams: it is trained on your resolved tickets and suggests replies with sources inside your helpdesk. The Enterprise RAG Knowledge Assistant (₹1,75,000, up to 3 months) answers questions from your documents for anyone permitted to see them, with a citation on every answer.
Can it answer in Hindi?
The Tally AI Assistant is the one AI package that lists a language: it takes questions in plain English or Hindi. AI Agent Workflows, the knowledge assistant and the support copilot do not list languages, so the languages your staff or customers will use are settled on the scope call and written into the proposal.
