Terms of Service

Short, plain terms for working with a founder-led business: how we scope and price, how you pay, who owns what, and what happens if something goes wrong.

Last updated 24 Oct 2026

Who these terms are between

These terms apply when you use makinforu.com or hire MakinForU (“we”). MakinForU (by Nousdhi Systems) is a founder-led business run by Lakshya Pratap Singh from India. In these terms “we” also means Nousdhi Systems, which issues your invoices. When you hire us, the legal entity that contracts with you is named in your written proposal and on your invoice.

Your proposal and these terms together are the agreement between us. If the proposal expressly changes a clause of these terms, the proposal wins on that point; otherwise these terms apply. The inclusions listed on the package or product page you chose are the minimum your proposal will contain, and support windows are as stated there. Other statements on this website, including calculators, are general information and are not part of the agreement unless the proposal repeats them.

How we scope and price

Every project starts with a 15-minute scope call. Within 48 hours we send a fixed, written proposal that sets out what we will deliver, the price in Indian rupees, the timeline, what we need from you, and how you pay. Our prices on this website exclude GST. Where it applies, 18% GST is added to the price and shown in the proposal.

Package prices on this website are starting prices for the scope listed on the page; the price for your project is the one in your accepted proposal. Prices shown in other currencies are converted for convenience, and you are invoiced in rupees. The calculators and the price estimator give ranges only and are not an offer. A proposal stays open for 15 days unless it says otherwise. It binds us both once someone with authority to act for you accepts it in writing; an email or WhatsApp message saying yes is enough.

Week one

Week one is at our risk. It is the first seven days after your timeline starts, and it applies to every fixed-price package and project. If, within three working days after the end of week one, you tell us in writing that the work does not match what the proposal describes, you owe nothing for that week and we refund anything you have paid for it. The amount at risk is the fee for the first milestone or, for a package of seven days or less, the package price. You can then stop, or we can correct the work and carry on. If you do not pay for week one, or we refund it, the work from that week stays ours and you may not use it.

Payment

You pay in Indian rupees on the schedule in your proposal. We invoice for each payment, and an invoice is due on receipt unless the proposal says otherwise. If a payment is late we may pause work until it is made, and we will tell you before we do. If it stays unpaid we may end the engagement, and you pay for the work done up to that date.

Fees for work already delivered are not refundable, except as set out under “Week one” and where the law requires.

Products: buying or renting

If you buy a product outright, you pay once and receive the full source code, its deployment, and a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive right to modify, extend, host and run it commercially for your own business under your own brand, together with brand customisation, documentation, training and three months of support. We keep ownership of the underlying product and may sell or licence it to others. The right to resell, sublicense or franchise a product exists only where the proposal says so.

If you rent a product, you pay a monthly licence fee to run it, and maintenance and fixes are included while you keep paying. Renting is a licence, not a transfer of ownership. The product's page or your proposal states which applies and what is included.

Changes to scope

If you want something outside the proposal, we write down what is asked, what it displaces, and its effect on price and delivery, and agree that with you before anyone starts on it.

Delivery, handover and acceptance

A timeline starts when we have your accepted proposal, the first payment if the proposal asks for one, and the access and content we need. Timelines assume you give us access, content, decisions and feedback on time. If those arrive late, dates move by the same amount, and we tell you as soon as we see a date at risk.

When we tell you in writing that work is ready, you have seven days to tell us about anything that does not match the proposal, and we will fix it at no charge. After that the work counts as accepted for anything you could have seen by then. Acceptance does not end any support, hypercare or warranty period stated in the proposal or on the product's page, which cover problems that appear later. A week-one claim, described above, is separate from reporting a defect.

Who owns what

Once you have paid in full, we assign to you all rights we hold in the deliverables made specifically for you, worldwide and for the full term of copyright, and the proposal or a short note we sign at handover records this. Deliverables may include output from AI tools and open-source or third-party components. We assign whatever rights we hold in such output, but we do not promise that it is protected by copyright or free of third-party rights, and open-source and third-party components stay under their own licences.

We keep our own tools, templates, methods and know-how, and you may use them as part of what we deliver. We will not name you as a client, or use your name, logo or results in our marketing, without your written permission.

Support

If you buy a product, support runs for three months from handover, covering bug fixes, guidance and small changes, and product updates are included for that period. After that you can run it yourself or ask us for a retainer. If you rent a product, maintenance, fixes and product updates are included while you keep paying. Support for project work, and any managed support, is as set out in the proposal.

Who does the work, and how we use AI

MakinForU is founder-led. The founder is your main contact and is accountable for the work from the scope call to handover, and we reply to your messages within 12 hours. We may involve freelancers or partners on part of the work: the proposal names anyone doing substantial work, we remain responsible for their work, and they are bound by confidentiality and assign their rights in the work to us.

We use large language models and other software tools from established providers to work faster, and we review what goes out under our name. We will not put your credentials, your customers' personal data, or information you have told us is restricted into an AI tool without telling you first and agreeing it in the proposal. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you give us. You promise that content you give us does not infringe anyone's rights or break the law, and you will cover our reasonable losses from a claim that it does.

Your customers' data

Where we host or handle personal data of your customers, you are the data fiduciary and we act only on your instructions. We apply reasonable security safeguards, tell you without undue delay of a breach affecting that data, use only the providers named in the proposal, and delete or return the data when the engagement ends unless the law requires us to keep it. You are responsible for your own notices to, and consents from, your customers.

Confidentiality

We treat what you share about your business as confidential and use it only to do the work. We may share it with our hosting, AI and tooling providers and with contractors who need it to do the work, under confidentiality terms, and with advisers or authorities where the law requires. This does not cover information that is already public, that you have made public, that we already knew or developed independently, or that reaches us lawfully from someone else. It continues after the project ends.

Costs and services from other companies

Fees charged by other companies, such as hosting, domains, Meta's WhatsApp charges, payment-gateway fees, software licences and app-store accounts, are not in our price unless the proposal says so. We are not responsible for another company's outage, policy change, API change, template rejection or price rise.

What we promise, and what we do not

We will do the work with reasonable skill and care and deliver what the proposal describes. We cannot promise business results such as traffic, leads, revenue or savings, because they depend on many things outside our control. We are not a tax, legal or regulatory adviser: you are responsible for your own compliance with tax, financial, health, data-protection and platform rules, and for checking templates, calculations and filings with your own advisers. To the extent the law allows, we give no other warranties.

To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim about a project is limited to the fees paid or payable for that project in the 12 months before the claim (or 12 months' licence fees for a rented product), and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss such as lost profit. This does not limit our obligation to perform the backups, monitoring and service levels set out in your proposal. Damages for missing them remain within the cap above, together with any service credit the proposal states. Where we host your data we keep backups as the proposal describes, and you remain responsible for keeping your own copies. Nothing in these terms limits a liability that cannot be limited by law, including for fraud.

Ending an engagement

Either of us may end a fixed-price project by giving seven days' written notice, or immediately if the other seriously breaches these terms. You pay for the work completed up to the end date, apportioned by the milestones in the proposal and apart from week one as described above. If you have paid more than the work completed, we refund the difference within 14 days, and we hand over what you have paid for.

Retainers, managed support and rented products continue month to month, and either of us may cancel with 30 days' written notice. When a rented product is cancelled it stops, and we give you a reasonable export of your data.

Using this website

The website is for general information. The content, design and code of makinforu.com belong to us or our licensors: please do not copy or resell them, and do not misuse the site or attack its forms and servers. General

We are an independent contractor and may work for others, including in the same industry. Neither of us is responsible for delay caused by events outside our reasonable control. If part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest stays in force. Neither of us may assign the agreement without the other's consent.

Governing law and disagreements

These terms are governed by the laws of India. If we disagree, write to us first at lakshya@makinforu.com and we will try to settle it within 30 days. If that does not work, the courts in India have exclusive jurisdiction.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms, and we will change the date at the top when we do. A change does not affect a proposal you have already accepted unless you agree to it. Questions: lakshya@makinforu.com or +91 85339 81853.
