When is a custom CRM worth ₹95,000?

When the CRM has to follow your rules rather than the other way round. Typical signs: salespeople give discounts someone should have approved, regional teams can see each other’s accounts, a quotation is retyped as an invoice somewhere else, and every manager wants the numbers cut a different way. The package is most often built for manufacturing, e-commerce and professional services businesses.

If none of that sounds familiar, and your team simply needs its pipeline out of a spreadsheet, Sales CRM Starter (₹18,000, up to 7 days) is the better starting point. It covers pipeline stages, web and WhatsApp lead capture, reminders and quotation templates without the cost of a custom field model.

What does your own field model change?

Most off-the-shelf CRMs are organised around leads, contacts, accounts and deals. In a custom setup the objects are yours — a distributor, a site, a contract, a project, whatever you actually sell against — with the fields and relationships your team needs. Permissions follow the same model, so a regional manager sees their territory and a salesperson sees their own accounts.

The quote-to-invoice workflow keeps one record from the first quotation to the invoice, with approval and discount rules in the middle: a discount above the limit you set waits for the right person before the quote goes out. Email and call logging keeps the conversation history on that same record.

What happens to the CRM you already have?

Data migration from your existing tools is part of the package, so the new CRM starts with your records rather than empty. Which tools you are moving from, and how much of their history is worth keeping, is agreed on the scope call and written into the proposal before any data moves.

If the old data is badly duplicated, or you want the move tested in parallel with a rollback plan, CRM Migration & Cleanup (₹9,000, up to 7 days) is the dedicated package: deduplication and normalisation, a parallel-run validation week, snapshots, and retraining on the new setup.

What is not included?

The package is a CRM, not an accounting system. It takes a sale from quotation to invoice, but posting invoices into Tally is not in the listed scope; Tally Integration & Automation (₹12,000, up to 30 days) covers that. WhatsApp and IndiaMART lead capture are not listed either. Call logging is included, while connecting a particular telephony provider is scoped on the call.

It is also not an industry template. If you sell property or run a clinic, Real Estate CRM (₹45,000) and Patient CRM & Recalls (₹45,000) already cover those workflows — unit blocking and broker payouts, or recalls and consent — and each is delivered in up to 30 days.

FAQ

04
How much does a custom CRM cost?

Custom CRM Setup starts at ₹95,000 and is delivered in up to 3 months. Because the objects, permissions and approval rules are designed around your business, the scope call is where they are listed out, along with the tools your existing data is coming from. Your fixed price arrives in writing after a 15-minute scope call.

How long does a custom CRM take to build?

Up to 3 months, as on the package card. You are not waiting for a reveal at the end: as on every engagement, you work directly with the founder, on a shared board, with a working demo on day one, so your sales managers can try each part with real examples as it is built.

Can managers and reps see different things?

Yes. Role and territory permissions are part of the package, so access is set by what a person does and where they sell. Reporting is built for every level — a rep’s own pipeline, a manager’s team, the owner’s whole business — from the same underlying records.

Is it built on Zoho or Salesforce?

The stack on the package card is Postgres and Node, not a subscription CRM such as Zoho or Salesforce. If you would rather start on Zoho, Sales CRM Starter, whose stack is Zoho and Postgres, starts at ₹18,000.

Can it log calls from our phone system?

Email and call logging is included, so conversations sit on the customer record. Whether calls are logged automatically from your telephony provider or entered by the salesperson depends on the provider you use; that is checked on the scope call and written into the proposal.
