MVP development: from idea to both app stores in one quarter

The Mobile App (MVP) package starts at ₹1,25,000 and takes an idea to the Android and iOS stores in up to 3 months, from one React Native codebase. It covers sign-in and profiles, push notifications, payments or subscriptions, a data layer that copes with weak signal, store submission, and crash and usage tracking from the first user.

What goes into the first version, and what waits?

An MVP is the smallest version of your product that real people can install, pay for and use. The package already fixes the foundation most customer apps need, so the scope call can go on the one or two things only your product does. We pressure-test your feature list and flag what you don’t need yet; what makes version one is then fixed in the written proposal, and the rest waits for version two.

Crash and analytics instrumentation follows the same thinking. The point of a first version is to learn which features people use, so the app records crashes and usage from launch rather than after someone asks. The offline-tolerant data layer is there for real conditions: someone whose signal drops in a lift or on a train should not lose what they just typed.

What should a founder have ready before the build?

Less than you might think. Be clear on who the first users are and the one job the app must do for them. Decide who will own the Apple and Google developer accounts the app is published under. Have a name, a logo and colours, even simple ones; if you have none, the Brand Identity Kit starts at ₹13,000 and is delivered in up to 7 days. You do not need a written specification: scope is settled on the call and fixed in the proposal, and the founder shows you working screens from day one.

Should you build an MVP or start from a ready-made product?

If your idea sits close to something we already sell — a fitness app, a diet and nutrition app, a coaching platform, CA practice software, a paper-trading app (simulated money, no real orders), a fashion store, restaurant ordering or a property marketplace — look at the products first. They launch in 7 days, start at ₹39,000 to buy with full source code or ₹6,999 a month to rent, and can be customised on top. Build the MVP when the core of your product is new. If you are unsure which route fits, the Tech Strategy Consultation at ₹3,000 gives a build-versus-buy recommendation in two sessions.

What is not included in the price?

Prices exclude GST. Where it applies, 18% GST is added and shown in your written proposal.

The price covers building the app and getting it through the stores. It does not include the fees Apple and Google charge for their developer accounts, Firebase usage that Google bills as your user base grows, or payment-gateway charges on each transaction; those are paid to the providers directly. A separate web app, an admin panel and connections to your existing systems are not in the feature list, so if you need them they are scoped on the call and priced in the proposal.

FAQ

04
How much does MVP development cost?

Our Mobile App (MVP) package starts at ₹1,25,000 and is delivered in up to 3 months, for Android and iOS from one codebase. Store developer fees, Firebase usage and payment-gateway charges are paid to those providers separately. Your fixed price arrives in writing after a 15-minute scope call.

Do we need a web version as well as the app?

Not necessarily; it depends on your users. This package is built for Android and iOS, so if part of your product has to work in a browser, say so on the scope call. If the browser side is really a tool for your own staff, Internal Tools & Portals starts at ₹45,000 and works on any device without an install.

What happens if Apple or Google rejects the app?

Store submission and review handling are part of the package, so replying to the reviewers and resubmitting after a rejection is our job, not yours. Rejections usually cite a specific store guideline, which tells you what has to change. The final decision, and its timing, stays with Apple and Google.

Can we try the app before it goes to the stores?

Yes. The founder works from a shared board and shows you a working demo on day one, so you use the app as it grows instead of seeing it for the first time at launch. That is also when features get cut or reordered, before they cost time.

Who keeps improving the app after launch?

Launch is where the crash reports and analytics start telling you what to change. To act on them, Managed Support & Growth, from ₹14,000, gives you retained founder hours for fixes, iterations and the version-two roadmap.
