Mobile app development for customers, field staff and office teams

The details
01Who will open the app every day?
Start there, because it decides the package. If the people using it are your customers — finding it in the Play Store or App Store, signing in, paying — you need the Mobile App (MVP): Android and iOS from one React Native codebase, with accounts, push notifications, payments or subscriptions, and store submission handled for you. It is scoped as a first version you can launch and learn from.
If the users are your own people, the choice is between the other two. The Field Workforce App is for staff who spend the day on site — deliveries, service visits, inspections — and need jobs sent to them. Internal Tools & Portals is for an office or operations team whose work currently lives in a shared spreadsheet that too many people edit.
Does it need to be in the app stores at all?
For a customer app, usually yes, and that brings two things outside your control. Apple and Google each review an app before it appears and can come back with questions or requests for changes; store submission and review handling are part of the MVP package, so those replies are ours to deal with. Apple and Google also charge their own developer-account fees, separate from our price.
For your own team, often not. Internal Tools & Portals is built to work on any device with nothing to install, which removes the store step entirely: people open it, sign in and get on with approvals, bulk imports and exports, and records that keep an audit trail of who changed what.
What makes a field app different from an internal tool?
Both capture data offline with photos, GPS and signatures, so light field work can run on Internal Tools & Portals. The Field Workforce App is for when the field is the whole job: jobs allocated with a route order for the day, checklists that change by job type, attendance and expense claims, and a supervisor dashboard that shows which jobs are running behind their agreed service times.
The Field Workforce App also lists a sync queue. Everything captured without signal — a signature at a basement site, a photo on a highway — is held on the phone and sent when it reconnects, so nothing depends on the worker remembering to retry. These extras come with a higher starting price, so it is worth being sure your field work needs them.
What happens after the first release?
A customer app keeps changing after launch. The MVP ships with crash reporting and analytics built in from the first release, so the second version can be planned from how people actually use the app rather than from guesses, and its offline-tolerant data layer keeps it usable on patchy mobile connections.
Someone then has to keep it moving: fixing what users report, applying platform updates, adding what the analytics point to. Managed Support & Growth, from ₹14,000, is the retained option for that work, listed under IT Consulting. It gives you the founder on agreed hours, patching and upgrading the app and bringing a roadmap and a demo each month.
On a tight budget?
A web app from ₹45,000 or a ready-made app from ₹39,000 often does the job before a store app is needed. See affordable app development for the three low-cost routes.

FAQ
03How much does mobile app development cost?
Our mobile app packages start at ₹45,000 for Internal Tools & Portals, delivered within 30 days. The Field Workforce App starts at ₹1,65,000 and the Mobile App (MVP) at ₹1,25,000, each delivered within 3 months. Your fixed price arrives in writing after a 15-minute scope call.
Do you build Android and iOS apps separately?
No. The Mobile App (MVP) is built once in React Native and runs on both Android and iOS from a single codebase, so a feature or a fix is written once for both platforms instead of twice. Store submission and review handling for both stores are part of the package.
Will the app work without mobile signal?
All three packages plan for it. The MVP has an offline-tolerant data layer, Internal Tools & Portals captures data offline for field teams, and the Field Workforce App keeps a sync queue that holds photos, signatures and job updates until the phone reconnects. How much has to work offline for you is settled on the scope call.
Can customers pay inside the app?
Yes. Payments or subscriptions are part of the Mobile App (MVP) package. Which payment provider you use, whether you charge once or on a subscription, and anything the app stores require for purchases made inside an app are settled on the scope call and written into the proposal.
Is there a faster route than a custom build?
If your app is a fitness app, a diet app or a paper-trading app, yes. FitPro and DietMate can each be bought for ₹49,000, or rented for ₹9,999 and ₹7,999 a month. TradeX, a paper-trading web app where users trade simulated money and no real order is placed, is ₹1,49,000 to buy or ₹24,999 a month. Each is a ready-made product that launches in 7 days under your brand, with three months of support.
