A product design system your designers and developers both build from

The Product Design System starts at ₹20,000 and is delivered in up to 30 days. We define tokens for colour, type and spacing, build the core components in Figma and hand coded versions to your developers, check colour contrast, document each pattern with do and don’t rules, and plan how your existing screens move over.

How do you know your product needs a design system?

Products drift one screen at a time. Each new feature is designed or coded slightly differently from the last — another shade of blue, another button height, another way of showing an error — until the product looks as if several teams built it without talking. Designers redraw parts that already exist, developers rebuild components that are already somewhere in the codebase, and every review turns into a debate about spacing.

A design system replaces those one-off decisions with a shared set that design and code both use. New screens are assembled from it rather than drawn from scratch, and a change to a colour or a type size is made once.

What happens to the screens we already have?

You do not have to pause feature work for a one-off redesign. The adoption plan for existing screens sets out which parts of your current product move to the system and in what order, so the change can travel with your normal releases. New screens use the system from the start; older ones follow the plan.

Tokens are what make gradual adoption workable. Once colour, type and spacing are named values, an older screen can pick them up before its components are replaced, so the product starts to look consistent well before the last screen has moved across.

What do designers and developers each receive?

Designers get the token set and a core component library in Figma, with pattern documentation that says when to use each piece and includes do and don’t rules, so a layout question is settled by the docs rather than by whoever built the last screen. Developers get coded components for Next.js, using the same tokens, handed over so they start from working parts instead of a picture of them.

What is not included?

The package builds the system and the core components. It does not redesign every screen of your product or build new features; the adoption plan tells you how to bring existing screens across. The accessibility contrast pass checks that text and background colour pairs have enough contrast to read; it is not a full accessibility audit, which would also cover keyboard use, screen readers and focus order.

Choosing the brand itself is not part of this package. The token set records colours and typefaces you have already settled on; if they are still undecided, or differ from one screen to the next, the Brand Identity Kit at ₹13,000, delivered in up to 7 days, settles them first.

FAQ

04
How much does a design system cost?

The Product Design System starts at ₹20,000 and is delivered in up to 30 days. It covers tokens, a core Figma component library, coded components for your developers, an accessibility contrast pass, pattern docs and an adoption plan for existing screens. Your fixed price arrives in writing after a 15-minute scope call.

Our product is not built on Next.js. Does that matter?

The coded components are built on Next.js, as on the package card. If your product runs on another framework, raise it on the scope call. The tokens, the Figma library and the pattern docs apply whatever you build with; how the coded components are delivered for your codebase is settled in the written proposal.

Who is a design system for?

Teams with a live software product that keeps growing, especially where many forms, tables and dashboards need to behave the same way. It is most often built for healthcare, education and manufacturing products, where staff, students or patients use the same screens every day and inconsistency slows them down.

Who keeps the system up to date after handover?

Your own designers and developers, working from the pattern docs and the token set; the handover is meant to make that possible. If you want outside hands for changes after handover, Managed Support & Growth starts at ₹14,000 for the founder’s agreed hours on your product.

Which components go into the core library?

The ones your screens repeat most. The package covers a core library rather than every component you might one day want, and the list, whether buttons, form fields, tables or navigation, is agreed on the scope call and written into the proposal. Anything added later can be built from the same tokens and documented the same way.
